The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has provided important guidelines for prospective corps members who have been mobilized for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 call-up.
These guidelines were shared on Monday through a series of posts on the NYSC's official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
According to the NYSC, the orientation camp for this batch will commence on August 28, 2024, and will run until September 17, 2024.
In light of the recent release of call-up letters, the NYSC management has outlined tips to ensure the safety and well-being of the prospective corps members. These include:
1. Avoid traveling to the Orientation Camps at night. If necessary, take breaks during your journey.
2. Ensure you report to camp on your scheduled date.
3. Correct any spelling errors or name arrangements on your NYSC dashboard.
4. Be aware that after documentation in the camp, changes to your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, Course of Study, and Passport Photograph will not be allowed.
5. If there are discrepancies between your course of study or Date of Graduation on your Statement of Result and Call-up Letter, do not report to the camp. Instead, contact your institution to resolve the issue.
