Services Available for Prospective Corps Members
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) preparing for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have been reminded of key services and documentation required for a smooth mobilization and camp experience.
According to an update shared by the NYSC admin, the following areas of assistance are available:

Medical Fitness Certificate: Compulsory for all PCMs during camp registration.

Medical Report: Required for redeployment, early exit from camp, or exemption on health grounds.

Direct Posting: Assistance in influencing camp location within the state of choice, immediately after registration.

Relocation: Support for redeployment during camp, particularly for those posted to distant areas.

IT Letter: A compulsory requirement for HND graduates.

PPA Posting & Reposting: Guidance on securing a preferred Primary Place of Assignment (PPA).

Marriage Certificate: Mandatory for married PCMs seeking posting to their spouse’s place of residence.

Domicile Letter: Required for married women before registration.

Newspaper Change of Name: For PCMs undergoing marital name changes.

Matriculation Name Issues: Assistance in resolving discrepancies on the matriculation list.
The admin emphasized that these services are critical for ensuring compliance with NYSC requirements and helping PCMs avoid challenges during mobilization, camp registration, or redeployment.
