The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has assured candidates for the November 2025 diet examinations that the delayed study packs for its new syllabus will be available before the end of August 2025.
Concerns had been raised on social media by prospective candidates, who noted that the exams are only a few weeks away and the materials were yet to be released.
In a statement issued on Friday and signed by Registrar Lanre Olasunkanmi, ICAN acknowledged the anxiety among students, stating: “We understand the concern regarding the release of the November 2025 examination study packs under the new syllabus.” The institute confirmed that arrangements have already been made to meet the deadline and stressed that the matter is receiving its “highest priority.”
The statement further explained that the delay was partly due to ICAN’s commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards, ensuring that the materials prepare candidates in line with global best practices.
“Every effort is being made to ensure the materials meet ICAN’s rigorous quality standards,” it said.
While appealing for patience, ICAN advised candidates to continue their preparation using available resources such as past examination questions, reference texts, and peer discussions until the study packs are released.
