A 56-year-old Egyptian, Mohammed Saleh, died after collapsing during dinner at the Abuja Continental Hotel in Wuse, Abuja.
According to reports, the hotel’s Security Supervisor, Francis Yusuf, alerted the police around 9:24 p.m. after Saleh, who was dining with three companions, suddenly slumped.
He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to Wuse District Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead. His remains have since been deposited in the hospital morgue for autopsy.
As of press time, the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, had not yet commented on the incident.
