The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, has opened applications for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a notice signed by the Council’s Secretary and Director of Administration, Ms. Aderonke O. Osho, the application portal will become active on Monday, September 1, 2025, while lectures are scheduled to commence on Monday, February 2, 2026. The programme will hold simultaneously at the Law School headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, and across its campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola, and Port Harcourt.
The Bar Part II course is open exclusively to Nigerian law graduates from accredited universities and foreign-trained law graduates who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Part I Course at the Nigerian Law School. Interested candidates are to visit the School’s official website (www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng) for full application guidelines. Only applicants whose names have been officially submitted by their university registrars will be eligible, and eligibility must be confirmed before payment of the non-refundable application fee.
Completed application forms, along with references, are to be submitted through the applicant’s Dean of Law and returned to the Nigerian Law School no later than Friday, October 31, 2025.
Candidates applying for approved re-admission or cleared referral admission must follow the instructions under the “Re-admission” section of the portal, attach the official approval or clearance letter, and forward it to the Secretary to the Council/Director of Administration at the headquarters before the October 31 deadline.
The Council further stressed that late applications will not be accepted and reminded applicants to retain their application numbers, which are required for checking admission status.
